ABOUT US

Nehemiah Nepal

Ujj and his wife, Grace, both grew up as pastor’s kids, deeply immersed in ministry and witnessing the powerful, transformative impact of God’s work on lives and communities. From an early age, Ujj felt a deep calling to build a sustainable foundation for sharing the gospel of Christ and planting churches. This mission has been the guiding force in his life, sparking a lifelong passion for creating Christ-centered initiatives that
reach the unreached.

In 2014, however, this calling came at a cost. Ujj faced severe persecution, threats, and hostility that ultimately forced him to leave Nepal. He sought refuge in the United States, where he and Grace began anew. In this season, Ujj dedicated himself to preparation, pursuing
studies at Harvard to earn an MPA in Government and Business, as well as an MBA in Risk Management from Utica University. Together, they started small businesses in Utica, New York, using their skills to support their family and community while actively serving in the Nepali
Community Church.

Despite their success, Ujj couldn’t shake the persistent call of God to return to ministry in Nepal. In his final year at Harvard, he felt an undeniable pull to go back, leading him and Grace to commit their savings to build three church buildings in 2023, creating sanctuaries for
worship and community outreach in eastern Nepal. With God opening doors for Ujj’s return, he is laying a foundation for a sustainable, long-term ministry that extends beyond Nepal.

Beyond church planting, Ujj and Grace are building a Christian high school to provide faith-based education and a microfinance fund to empower local families financially. These initiatives are designed to create a self-sustaining community that embodies both spiritual and economic growth. God’s calling is now clearer than ever, and Ujj is preparing to return to Nepal with unwavering purpose—to reach the unreached, establish resilient churches, and equip future leaders to carry the gospel message across Nepal, India, and Bhutan.
